About Ms. Courtney
Having grown up in Lynch, NE, I am already used to a small-town, tight-knit community life. I have one brother, Heath (20), and one sister, Martina (25). Martina is married and has one daughter, Penelope Pearl (3) and one son, Milo Ellis (brand new!). My goddaughter, Lorelei Ella Mae (6), is starting Kindergarten this year, and I can't believe it! I love spoiling these little angels as often as I can! I have no pets, but I dream of one day having a yellow lab named Tom Hanks.
I graduated from Lynch High School in 2004 and immediately attended Northeast Community College until my graduation in May of 2007. After graduation, I worked in a variety of places, including a bridal shop, daycare, and nursing home. It was during my third year as a Para at Lynch High School that I decided to fulfill my dream of having my own classroom!
In 2011, I entered Wayne State College to pursue my teaching degree, and I finally graduated with a degree in English Education in December of 2013. This will be my third year at RPS.
My favorite things in life are: reading, writing, watching movies, and being a part of the Riverside Community.
